I may be crazy, but just in case I'm not...

Are you familiar with "Some Guys Have All the Luck" by Rod Stewart? As you may recall, the chorus goes:

Some guys have all the luck
Some guys have all the pain
Some guys get all the breaks
Some guys do nothing but complain

The there are some whoas: whoa-oh-oh whoa-oh-oh-oh whoa-oh

That tune, I believe, substituting humming for whoas and speeding it up just a bit, exists in an older song. Please think about this, and if you know that song, tell me what it is.

This has been driving me nuts!

I've been vindicated by several others who agree that the Banana Splits theme song's tra-la-las have the same tune as Bob Marley's "Buffalo Soldier" oy-yoy-ohs. I'm hoping for a similar resolution to this conundrum.

Oh, and I already know that Rod Stewart's "Some Guys Have All the Luck" is a remake, originally done by The Persuaders. I don't think that's the song I'm thinking of, but if it is, that'd be just swell. I can't find a copy of it to listen to.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
