1 BIG can black beans
1 can corn
1 can diced tomatoes with garlic and onion
1/3 of a bottle of Frank's Red Hot with lime
4 packets Goya savon
Whole whack of cheese
A shake or two of onion powder
Several - many shakes of chili powder
Salt and pepper for the hell of it
2 splashes of olive oil
2 1/2 cups white rice, uncooked
Open all the cans of stuff, drain them, and put them in a giant pot of some kind over medium heat. Add a little water because they have to cook for a long ass time. Add some olive oil. Add some dry stuff (two packets of the savon stuff, onion powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper). Add the Red Hot. Break up the cheese, so it'll melt faster; throw that in, too. Keep stirring it periodically, and go on to the next thing.
Get another, less big pot. Put the rice, 5 cups of water, a splash of olive oil, a dash of salt, and two packets of savon in it. Stir, bring to a boil, cover, and simmer over low heat for about 12 minutes.
Dump the rice in the big pot with the other stuff. Stir.
Stuff that might be worth adding: chicken and/or sour cream.
